Recently she also founded Haru Baby, a small baby clothing brand and does all the illustration and design while raising her 2 year old son.
“I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai‘i and grew up in a predominantly Japanese household. I speak fluent English and Japanese and have strong connections to both my local and Japanese roots.
In school, I was fortunate to have editorial work experience from working at Ka Leo O Hawai‘i since 2015 and and acted as the Creative Director from around 2019-2022. This experience led to my love for both editorial design/typography as well as illustration graphics and have worked with businesses like Hawaii Business Magazine and Local Motion Hawaii doing all kinds of design I love.
